Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our apprenticeship matching services and how we connect candidates with opportunities.

What is Triunctio and how does it work?

Triunctio is a specialized platform that connects prepared candidates with real apprenticeship opportunities in the electrical trade. We serve as the first stepping stone by intentionally matching candidates who are ready to learn with employers who are ready to teach. Our platform analyzes your skills, location preferences, career goals, and personal priorities to create meaningful connections that benefit both candidates and employers.

Is there a cost to use Triunctio?

Our matching services are completely free for candidates. We believe that access to quality apprenticeship opportunities should not be limited by financial barriers. We work with employers to facilitate connections and ensure quality matches for both parties. There are no hidden fees, subscription costs, or charges for using our platform.

What qualifications do I need to get started?

Requirements vary by opportunity, but generally, candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED), a genuine interest in the electrical trade, and a commitment to learning and growth. Some employers may have additional requirements such as a valid driver's license, ability to pass a drug screening, or physical fitness for the demands of the job. Most importantly, we look for candidates who demonstrate readiness, alignment with the trade's values, and long-term commitment.

How do I create an account?

Creating an account is simple and takes just a few minutes. Click the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner of any page, fill in your basic information including your full name, email address, and create a secure password. Once you've created your account, you'll be able to complete your profile with additional details about your skills, location preferences, and career goals. This information helps us provide better matches.

How does the matching process work?

Our matching process is comprehensive and personalized. We analyze your skills, location preferences, career goals, and personal priorities to match you with apprenticeship opportunities that align with your objectives. Our system considers multiple factors including geographic location, company culture fit, compensation packages, training programs, and long-term career growth opportunities. We emphasize readiness, alignment, and sustained commitment to ensure matches that benefit both candidates and employers for years to come.

How long does the matching process take?

The timeline varies based on your profile completeness, location, and available opportunities in your area. Generally, we aim to provide initial matches within 2-4 weeks of completing your profile. However, this can vary depending on market conditions, seasonal hiring patterns, and the specific requirements of available positions. We keep you informed throughout the process and notify you as soon as we identify potential matches.

Can I see multiple opportunities at once?

Yes, absolutely! We believe in giving you options and the ability to compare different opportunities. When you're matched with multiple apprenticeships, you can review each one, compare benefits, locations, training programs, and company cultures. This allows you to make an informed decision about which opportunity best aligns with your personal and professional goals.

What happens after I'm matched with an opportunity?

Once you're matched with an opportunity, you'll receive detailed information about the position, the employer, and next steps. You can review the opportunity in your dashboard, and if you're interested, you can express your interest directly through our platform. The employer will then review your profile and may reach out to schedule an interview or provide additional information. We facilitate the connection but the final hiring decision is made by the employer.

What is an electrical apprenticeship?

An electrical apprenticeship is a structured training program that combines on-the-job training with classroom instruction. Apprentices work under the supervision of experienced electricians (journeymen or masters) while learning the trade. The program typically lasts 4-5 years and includes both paid work experience and technical education. Upon completion, apprentices become journeyman electricians, qualified to work independently in the electrical trade.

How much do electrical apprentices earn?

Apprentice wages vary by location, employer, and experience level, but typically start between $15-25 per hour. Wages increase progressively as you gain experience and complete training milestones. Many apprenticeship programs also include benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. By the time you complete your apprenticeship and become a journeyman, you can expect to earn significantly more, often $30-50+ per hour depending on your location and specialization.

What will I learn during my apprenticeship?

During your apprenticeship, you'll learn a comprehensive range of electrical skills including reading blueprints and technical diagrams, installing and maintaining electrical systems, troubleshooting electrical problems, understanding electrical codes and safety regulations, working with various tools and equipment, and developing problem-solving and critical thinking skills. You'll also learn about different specializations such as residential, commercial, industrial, or low-voltage electrical work.

Can I update my profile after creating an account?

Yes! You can update your profile, preferences, and information at any time through your dashboard. We encourage you to keep your profile current as it helps us provide better matches. You can update your skills, location preferences, career goals, work experience, education, and any other information that might be relevant to potential employers. Keeping your profile up-to-date ensures that you're matched with the most relevant opportunities.

Is my personal information secure?

Absolutely. We take data security and privacy very seriously. Your personal information is encrypted and stored securely. We only share your profile information with potential employers after you've expressed interest in a specific opportunity. You have full control over what information is shared and with whom. We never sell your data to third parties, and we comply with all relevant data protection regulations.
